Just-in-time Fulfillment (JIT)

Capable-to-Match

Just-in-time fulfillment is an increasingly important aspect of a company’s supply chain. It is a way of thinking, a concept, that centers on a set of functionality surrounding order promising and fulfillment checking throughout the entire supply chain for a talent. JIT simply means that a talent is available and can be promised to a buyer.

In today’s cut-throat competition, non-availability of a resource can upset the entire delivery cycle of a product or a service and cost companies millions in lost opportunity. So availability of talent needs to be well choreographed between supply chain participants, carefully timed to ensure all that the project work starts on time. JIT also helps companies optimize talent supply and demand ensuring that there are never too many - or, worse, too few - costing money and opportunities for growth.
